Kitchen Assistant

Start: ASAP Where: Newtown, QLD Type: Part time / casual Pay: On application

JOB DESCRIPTION

Merlo Coffee Toowoomba - Wyalla & Xpress Locations are looking for:

Kitchen Assistants (multiple roles)

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Food preparation/serving: perform food preparation of cabinet items as well as serve a la carte made-to-order meals
  • Product knowledge: advise customers and staff on gluten and dairy free items in addition to in-store specials
  • Kitchen organisation: manage the work flow and meet preparation targets, complete food safety checklists and other OH&S procedures, order stock and food items for the store
  • Customer service: ensuring Merlo’s famous customer-focused service is upheld at all times
  •  

To ensure your success in this roles you will have:

  • 15-20 hours per week available OR 
  • 25-30 hours per peek available
  • Flexible over a 7 day roster
  • Previous kitchen experience
  • Grill experience preferred
